The West Windsor Retirees’ Group and the Village Grande Civic Association are holding two debates for candidates in the November election on Monday, October 19, and on Monday, October 26.

On October 19 Township Council candidates Diane Ciccone and Andrew Hersh will debate from 10 to 10:45 a.m., followed by District 14 Assembly candidates Robert Calabro, Wayne DeAngelo, Linda Greenstein, and William Harvey, from 10:45 a.m. to noon.

The second debate, from 10 a.m. to noon on October 26, is for Mercer County Freeholder candidates Daniel Benson, Pasquale Colavita Jr., Ann Cannon, Shirley Guerieri, Cindy Randazzo, and Russell Wojtenko Jr.

Both will be held in Room A of the municipal building on Clarksville Road, and both will be broadcast live, and then re-broadcast, over community channels Comcast 27 and Verizon 42.

Moderated by Ronald Slinn, the leader of the West Windsor Retirees’ Group, the debates will be based on written questions from the audience, reviewed by an independent panel and presented in rotation to all candidates. Questions should be generic in nature, not directed to an individual candidate nor involve personal attacks, a press release states.
