Artworks and I Am Trenton Community Foundation are set to hold the fifth annual community Art Making Day on May 3.

Art Making Day is an initiative that promotes educating and connecting the entire community through various forms of creative expression.

Participants will be able to submit their creations for free to Art All Night 2014, the largest 24-hour art exhibition in New Jersey.

There are three locations in Trenton for Art Making Day: Artworks at 19 Everett Alley, Gallery 219 at 219 Hanover Street and Ellarslie City Museum at Cadwalader Park.

Each venue will host workshops and activities for children and families.

Participants of all ages and skill levels will have the opportunity to try out various mediums and improve on their creative skills while connecting with each other.
