PRESS INFORMATION

CASE #: 2009-034914

INCIDENT: Aggravated Assault

DATE/TIME OCCURRED: Friday 12/18/2009 at approx. 8:25 pm

LOCATION OCCURRED: West Windsor – Plainsboro High School North

90 Grovers Mill Road Plainsboro, N.J. 08536

WHO: (VICTIM)

Victims- Two (2) spectators of a high school basketball game

Ewing H.S. vs. West Windsor – Plainsboro H.S. North

DETAILS: A disturbance occurred in the bleachers at the end of the above referenced basketball game. During the melee, two (2) spectators were assaulted. Victim #1 sustained an injury to the left eye area. Victim #2 sustained injuries to the left ankle and left forearm. Both victims were transported to the hospital by the Plainsboro Twp. First Aid Squad. This incident is elevated to aggravated assault due to the assault occurring at a youth sporting event at a school where children under age 16 years of age are present. No arrests have been made at this time.
