Two stores are set to open Thursday morning in Nassau Park after months of subdivision and renovation of the former Kohl’s location in the shopping center.

T.J.Maxx and Homesense, sister brands in the TJX family of stores, are set to host grand openings on Thursday, Sept. 26. The stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

There are more than 1,200 T.J.Maxx discount department stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, including one in nearby Mercer Mall which has closed in anticipation of the new store’s opening.

This will be the 8th New Jersey location for Homesense, a home decor store. The stores are the second and third TJX shops in Nassau Park, joining HomeGoods.

Burlington Stores are also expected to open a new location in the former Kohl’s space this fall.
