Hopewell Township will be conducting a public information meeting about Scotch Road residential development on Thursday, Jan. 10.

The meeting will be held from from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hopewell Township Municipal Building, 201 Washington Crossing Pennington Road, Titusville. It will be conducted in an informal, open house format, according to township officials.

The public is invited to view conceptual plans offered by the interveners in the township’s ongoing Affordable Housing Settlement Compliance proceedings.

Officials said in a statement that plans to be presented will show a concept for development of a portion of Block 93, Lot 6.02, located on the west side of Scotch Road opposite the office complex located at American Boulevard. The plans have been prepared to demonstrate compliance with the Redevelopment Plan adopted for the property that will contribute toward meeting the township’s affordable housing obligation under its court-ordered Settlement Agreement.

During the meeting, the public will be able to offer comment which officials said will assist the township in providing community feedback to the interveners well in advance of formal site plan development for the property.
