After five years of operating the WTF? (Where’s The Food?) food truck, owners Tim and Lisa McRae have opened a takeout food stand in their hometown. A grand opening for Where’s The Food is scheduled for Saturday, July 28 3 to 7 p.m. at the food stand, 1543 Parkway Ave., Ewing.

WTF? sells BBQ-style food, burgers, cheese steaks, and chicken fingers and french fries, according to their menu.

Tim and Lisa McRae are avid foodies and would watch the Food Network to see what the chefs were whipping up in kitchens around the world. They noticed that food trucks were starting to pop up at events and on streets within the community. In 2013, they decided that opening a food truck was a solid way to supplement their income for the spring/summer months, as Tim is a heating oil dealer during the winter months.

Now celebrating their fifth anniversary, the McRaes launched a soft opening earlier this summer. The WTF? food stand is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aside from the grand opening, the store front will be closed on Saturdays due to the company’s food truck bookings. Call ahead ordering is available during their hours of operation at 609-882-5100.
