The Princeton Zoning Board heard three applications at its May 23 meeting. Two were approved, one was continued until September.

Approved:

70 Jefferson Road, Tobias D. Robison and Elaine Golden Robison, owners and applicants, seeking a variance to permit placement of two existing air conditioners in exception to the required setback. There was no record of a prior approval.

27 Linden Lane, Scott and Katherine Harmon, owners and applicants, seeking a variance for smaller and combined side yard setback and height to setback ratio to permit the construction of attic dormer and an additional full bathroom.

After modifications to the original plan presented by the applicant and additional public comment, the board continued its review of the following application:

Terhune Road at North Harrison Street, Sunrise Development Inc., applicant, and PSC II LLC, c/o George Comfort & Sons Inc., owners. A bifurcated application requested variances to permit an 89-unit assisted living facility in a zone where such use is not expressly permitted. Additional bulk variances were requested for setbacks, signage, height to setback ratio, and parking.
