Carter Road in Hopewell to close for repaving

Starting Monday, April 10, Carter Road will be closed between Pennington Rocky Hill Road and Princeton Avenue in Hopewell for milling and paving, according to the Mercer County Department of Transportation.

The roadwork will occur Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., officials said. The road will be closed to traffic during these hours. However, full access will be permitted during non-working hours.

Motorists will be directed to use East Broad Street/Hopewell-Rocky Hill Road, Province Line Road and Cherry Valley Road during the construction.

DOT officials said Carter Road will closed for approximately 20 working days.
