The Teal Tea Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money to support ovarian cancer research and awareness campaigns, is hosting their annual Teal Tea fundraiser in Hamilton on May 7.

This year’s event, “The Sun Will Come Out TEAL-morrow!,” will feature a Broadway theme at the Stone Terrace—2275 Kuser Road in Hamilton—from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The afternoon includes a luncheon, product and 50/50 raffles, speakers and a speakeasy wall of wine. The Teal Tea fundraiser is the foundation’s biggest event of the year.

Ovarian cancer survivor Jean Shipos founded the Teal Tea Foundation in 2008 with family and friends in an effort to fight the disease. The foundation has since raised and donated close to $80,000 for research conducted at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, New Brunswick; Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia; the newly-named MD Anderson Center at Cooper in Camden, NJ; and the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
