The ONE Project, a non-profit faith and community coalition organized to address social needs through education and volunteerism, will host the 2016 NJ Hunger Project in Robbinsville on Saturday, July 30.

Roughly 700 community volunteers from different cultures and backgrounds will come together to package 60,000 meals. The meals will be donated donated to Mercer Street Friends Food Bank and other local food providers.

The nutritious, non-perishable lentil casserole meals will be used to help bridge the hunger gap in the community.

The event is designed to bring together local business, faith groups and community partners in order to take the first step toward solving hunger.

The meal packing event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Robbinsville High School, 155 Robbinsville-Edinburg Road. To sign up for the event visit oneprojectnj.eventbrite.com or visit oneprojectnj.org for more information.
