Three-time Olympian Hazel Clark hosted her runners’ camp at The Pennington School earlier this month. The Nike Clark Family Running Camp is directed and facilitated by the Clark family, who had a member on the U.S. Olympic team from 1984-2008.

“I was impressed by the warm reception at Pennington and the top level staff and facilities,” said Clark, who is a seven time National Champion in addition to her Olympic accolades.

According to the camp’s website, Clark is an American middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800 meters middle distance race. She was a member of the U.S. Olympic team in 2000, 2004 and 2008. Clark noted that her family’s camps deliver elite track and field/cross county instruction and help campers understand the true meaning of the word “champion.”

“Pennington’s campus is phenomenal; it has great facilities and the people are very helpful,” noted JJ Clark, a coach at the camp and member of the Clark Family. “The town is great and close to all the running trails; it was a really good situation.”
