Professionals from the Lawrenceville office of CBIZ recently volunteered at the Mercer Street Friends Food Bank as part of CBIZ’s goal of encouraging employees to give back to their local communities—an initiative recognizing the company’s 20th anniversary.

The volunteers assembled snack pack items in gallon-size freezer bags to be donated to area schools for school backpacks. This volunteer effort is one of many taking place at CBIZ’s 100-plus offices across the country, as each of CBIZ’s more than 4,000 employees is encouraged to volunteer in local offices.

“Volunteering for local causes gives our team members an opportunity to work together outside of the office to further develop our professional and personal relationships,” said Jerry Grisko, president and CEO of CBIZ, Inc.
