The Mercer County Clerk’s office will be moving from its present location to 240 West State Street in Trenton, in January 2016, for approximately two years. The Mercer County Improvement Authority is beginning renovations to the Courthouse Annex, where the County Clerk’s Office is currently located.

This move has been planned for many months and will be the biggest move in the history of the Mercer County Clerk’s office. During that time, all of the County Clerk’s services, and its public record room, will be available to the public at the 240 West State Street location (which was previously a Holiday Inn hotel).

The relocation is scheduled to take place over the weekend of January 15 through 18. The office is expected to be open for regular business on January 19, 2016.

Hours of Operation:

Thursday, January 14- Recording of Land Documents will close at noon. Public Record Room/Search Room will close at 4 p.m.

Friday, January 15- County Clerk’s Office closed. County Clerk’s online search system to shut down at 8 a.m. The Mercer County Connection, will remain open on Friday and Saturday, and will continue to provide passport services.
