Black Diamonds brave cold, win

The weekend of Nov. 21, the Bordentown Black Diamonds U12 girls’ recreational soccer team captured first place in the Midlands Soccer Tournament, going 3-0-2 in the tournament and 10-1-3 on the season. The girls pulled out a victory in the championship game against the Mansfield Fireballs, a hard-fought 2-1 win. The two teams squared off earlier that day, playing to a 0-0 tie.
