Steinert High School is teaming up with Dreams for Kids, Inc. in order to raise funds for Steinert High School Athletics on Saturday, March 12 at 6 p.m. Scoring Points for Kids will bring members of the NFL Alumni Association to the Steinert basketball court, where they square off against some of Hamilton’s all-star students, parents, teachers and community members.

Prior to the event, assembly programs will be provided for elementary and middle school students. Professional athletes will visit the students with messages of encouragement and motivation. The event will consist of multiple games between the pros and local teams, a special VIP reception, silent auction, tricky tray, meet and greet with the players and more.

Dreams for Kids, Inc. is founded by former NFL player Lonnie Allgood. The program’s mission is to help build a child’s character byproviding the tools they need to believe in themselves and respect others. By using current and former professional athletes as mentors, the goal is for the child to understand the importance of education and inspire them to become great people in society and to reach their dreams in life.

Pre-sale tickets are $10. VIP meet and greet dinner tickets are $35. Visit ladfk.org to purchase tickets.
