For the communities of Robbinsville and Hamilton, the new school year brings with it a novelty of its own- the first ever local High Holidays service.

Just over a year ago, Rabbi Yaakov and Chana Chaiton along with their son Levi, moved into the area to begin catering to the needs of the Jewish families and professionals in the Hamilton and Robbinsville vicinity. After developing holiday programs, family Shabbat dinners and entertaining kids programs, the Chaitons are embarking on their newest project- the first local high holiday services, which comes just weeks after putting together a community calendar.

High holidays are typical for people to scout the area and find a place for their family to pray. The Chaitons are working to make this easier and more accessible by hosting high holiday services locally at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Robbinsville.

The free services are open to everyone including non-members.

Rosh Hashana services will be held at the Hampton inn and suites in Robbinsville starting at 9:30 a.m. with Shofar blowing at 11 a.m.
