The Council of the Friends of the Princeton University Library is set to hold its annual fall dinner on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in the Friend Center, located on the corner of Olden and William streets. A reception will begin at 5:45 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.

This year’s speaker will be Jeff Nunokawa, professor of English and master of Rockefeller College. The title of his talk, “Dante or Puppies: Must We Choose? The Great Books and Social Media,” is drawn from Nunokawa’s latest book, “Notebook” in which he has compiled 250 notes from his Facebook page, presenting a new kind of literary work in this digital and social media age. Nunokawa’s other interests include British literature, theory and criticism, and feminist, gender and sexuality studies.

The cost of the dinner is $75 per person. The Friends welcome non-member guests to this event.
