As expected, the Plainsboro Committee voted to reappoint Peter Cantu as mayor and Neil Lewis as deputy mayor. Cantu ran unopposed for his 14th committee term in November and begins his 41st year on committee and his 35th year as mayor.

Committee members will all retain their current liaison positions: Cantu is liaison to the administration and finance departments; Lewis remains the liaison to the department of public safety and environmental issues; long-time committee member Ed Yates is the liaison for planning, code enforcement, and the historical society; David Bander remains the liaison to the public works department and the Council of Community Associations; and Nuran Nabi will continue as liaison to the departments of recreation, community services, and the municipal court.

Township officials who were also reappointed include Municipal Court Judge Edward Herman, prosecutor Craig Hubert, public defender Robert Schwartz, attorney Michael Herbert, and engineer David Samuel.
