The Ewing Computer Learning Center (CLC) will present the program “YouTube: What Is It and Why Do I Need It?” on Tuesday, Feb. 3.

The free program will begin at 2 p.m. in the Ewing Senior and Community Center, located at 999 Lower Ferry Road.

The program will cover YouTube’s history, demonstrate how easy the site is to use and show how individuals can make their own channel and upload their own videos.

It will be presented by CLC instructor Mary Kay Podlecki. In addition to being a volunteer instructor, Podlecki assists in maintaining the computers and networks at the CLC. She is also actively involved in writing applications for the iPhone and iPad. She has a Bachelors degree in computer science from Iowa State University and a Masters in computer science from Purdue University.

Prior to the program, there will be “Q and A’s with the CLC Faculty” when the audience can seek answers to their computer related questions.
