“AgORA: A Collection of Visions,” a group art exhibit featuring photographic series from ten fine art photographers will be on display at Lakefront Gallery at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton from March 14 to May 14.

There will be an opening reception for the exhibit on Thursday, March 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public and will offer various refreshments, wine and music.

AgORA is a group of local photographers who have met monthly since 2008 to critique each other’s creative and technical work.

Their mission is to encourage each other to find inspiration, and to have their work widely shown. Every member of the group, which is an offshoot of the Princeton Photography Club, is an award-winning photographer.

The group has previously mounted joint shows that included single examples of each member’s work at Gallery 14 in Hopewell and at The Jewish Center in Princeton.

The participating artists are David Ackerman presenting the series “The Poet and the Printer,” Valerie Chaucer-Levine presenting “Dynamic Contrasts,” Sally Davidson presenting “A Retrospective,” Daniel Goldberg presenting “Northeast Corridor, 9:26 AM,” Alice Grebanier presenting “The Sounds of Water,” Mary Leck presenting “Trekking Coastal Tasmania,” Larry Parsons presenting “Dancing Lilies,” Bennett Povlow presenting “Big Iron,” Maia Reim presenting “Altered States” and Barbara Warren presenting “Winter Wood.”

The Lakefront Gallery is a not-for-profit gallery that is dedicated to emerging artists, providing gallery wall space at no fee. It encourages experimentation and creativity without the marketing pressures of a for-profit gallery.

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton is located at 1 Hamilton Health Place in Hamilton.
