The Old Barracks Museum will be hosting a hands-on French and Indian War event this March.

Visitors will experience a typical day in the life of a 1760’s soldier stationed at the barrakcs and interact with those who inhabited it.

Activities throughout the day will include morning roll call, drill and firelock demonstrations, ration distribution, and cooking.

Tours of the barracks will be available.

The event will take place on March 28 and 29 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors/students, and free for children 5 and under/active military/members. Parking for this weekend is free and located in the lot directly next to the museum. Visit www.barracks.org for more details.
