Head Start to hold Earth Day tree planting

Gateway Community Action Partnership’s Ewing/Lawrence Head Start center pre-children plan to plant Eastern White Pine seedlings on Friday, April 24 at 10 a.m. to commemorate Earth Day. The center is located at 320 Hollowbrook Dr. in Ewing.

The Neighborhood Forest project on Minneapolis, MN donated more than 40 Eastern White Pine seedlings to the Ewing/Lawrence center last week for planting at the center as well as at the preschoolers’ homes.
