Last month, members of the Trenton Marine Corps League, Detachment #207, based in Hamilton Township, helped to congratulate Hamiltonian Jake DeBlois upon his successful completion of the United States Marine Corps Recruit Training (commonly referred to as boot camp) in Parris Island, South Carolina.

Following graduation, DeBlois returned home to Hamilton for a brief visit, before heading to Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base in Jacksonville, North Carolina, to pursue infantry training. DeBlois is a graduate of Nottingham High School in Hamilton Township.
