Adath Israel Congregation is set to present Sharim v’Sharot in concert on May 31.

Adath Israel Congregation is set to host its “Mercer Maestros: Jewish Composers in The Capital County” concert on Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m. The congregation is located at 1958 Lawrenceville Road in Lawrenceville.

The concert will feature the 25 singers of Sharim v’Sharot: People of Song with conductor Dr. Elayne R. Grossman. The group will perform music written by Mercer County Jewish composers about life, love, passion and prayer.

Composers, lyricists, and arrangers on the program include Dr. Moshe Budmor, Dr. Mark Zuckerman, Dr. Kenneth Lampl, Dr. Janice Hamer, Cantor Gerald Cohen, Cantor Joanna Dulkin, Rabbi Daniel T. Grossman, Yonatan Shefa (of The Maccabeats,) Raanan Shefa, Robert Glatzer, Caryn Alter, Dr. Stephen M. Cohen, Eleanor Epstein, and Dr. Elayne R. Grossman. Their connections to Mercer County range from their birth, residence, education or employment.
