PEAC Health and Fitness as announced that its PEAC’s Got Talent annual fundraiser held on April 11, 2015 raised over $30,000. The evening was filled with entertainment by local performers to benefit the Mercer County Chapter of the Sunshine Foundation’s Operation Dreamlift.

Ewing based band The TEMPOraries was the headlining act for the evening. World renowned female impersonator Steven Andrade’s performance as Cher energized the crowd of over 200 people. The evening also included talented performances by Diane Beebe, Christie Brayton, Ewing High School Master Singers, Craig Lieboff, Marsha Newman, Notre Dame High School Madrigal Choir, PEAC’s Tai Chi Group and Devon Scarlett. Sunshine Foundation volunteer Susan Fanning was the Mistress of Ceremonies and local music producer Alex Otey provided the technical support for the show.

Guests of honor included four families who directly benefit from the Sunshine Foundation’s wish granting mission. Also in attendance were Cierra Kaler-Jones, Miss New Jersey 2014; James McKinstry, former NY Jets; Rodney Pete Watson, former Cincinnati Bengals; and Ewing Mayor Bert Steinmann with Council President Jennifer Keyes-Maloney.

All proceeds from PEAC’s Got Talent benefit the Sunshine Foundation’s Dreamlift, which transports a group of special needs children from the National Guard Facility in Trenton, NJ to Orlando, FL for one day of fun at Walt Disney World. This year’s Dreamlift takes flight on May 5, 2015. Since 2008, with the support of the community, PEAC has raised more than $200,000 to benefit the Dreamlift.
