Sarah Cleveland of Hopewell Valley Girl Scout Troop 70175 is currently working to create a cookbook and conduct a food drive for her Silver Award project. The Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Cadette can earn. Cleveland is working to compile healthy, inexpensive and nutritionally complete recipes for a cookbook. The book and food donations will be distributed to individuals and families in need through Mercer Street Friends.

To contribute a recipe or make a donation, please email lcleveland@verizon.net, visit caringcookbooks.weebly.com or place nonperishable food donations in Cleveland’s bin near the exit of the Pennington Market.
