Hopewell Valley YMCA to host Spring into Summer Cocktail Benefit June 5

The Hopewell Valley YMCA are set to host the Spring Into Summer Cocktail Benefit on Friday, June 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will be held at TPC Jasna Polana located at 8 Lawrenceville Road in Princeton.

The benefit will honor Phil Volpe “The Cream King” with the Larry Rothwell Social Responsibility Award. This years’ event will be a shorter cocktail party with beverages and hors d’oeuvres, a TapSnap green screen photo booth and several surprises.

Proceeds from the event will be used by the YMCA to fund the operations of the Hopewell Valley Youth Activity Center for teens, local Special Olympic programming and to provide financial assistance to families for programs like dance, swimming lessons, youth sports, summer camps, and before/after-school care. The Hopewell Valley YMCA hopes to raise $125,000 by the end of August.

Over $53,000 has already been committed to the benefit by local business sponsorships and individual pre-sale benefactor tickets. Opportunities to purchase scholarships will be featured at the benefit event.
