Lawrence Nature Center to host Summer Family Nights

The Lawrence Nature Center is set to host its Summer Family Night series on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in July and August. Programs are for parents and young children and are free of charge. Family Nights will take place at the Nature center, 481 Drexel Avenue, Lawrence Township.

July programs include: July 7 “Trees” by Rick Dutk; July 14 “Orgami, the art of paper folding” with Brett Smith; July 21 “Art” by local artists Toj Colavita and Sue Kiley; and July 28 “Meteors and Space” by Dave and Nicholas Bosted.

August programs will include “Sheep to Shawl,” “Mushroom Paper,” “Wonder of Nature” and “Campfire Stories.”

All programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Nature Center. Light refreshments will be served at the end of the programs.
