Pennington Presbyternian set to host Summer Fun events in August

Pennington Presbyterian is set to host several Summer Fun at the Church events throughout August 2015.

On Wednesday, August 5, the church plans to host a Barbeque and Bocce night starting at 6 p.m. This event is open to the public and participants should bring something to grill and sides to share.

On Sunday, August 16 Pennington Presbyterian is set to host a concert to benefit the Bethel Ame Church Restoration Fund. The concert will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. and will feature Delores Spencer singing classical, gospel and show tunes accompanied by Martha Johnson on piano. A free will offering will be collected.

On Wednesday, August 19 the church is set to host an outdoor festival featuring music by The Pennington Station Band and food and drinks from Carlito’s Taco Truck. The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.
