PEAC to hold Science Sampler Camp

PEAC Turf is set to host a Science Sampler Camp Monday, December 28 through Thursday, December 31, 2015 for students in grades 4 through 6. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon each dayat 1440 Lower Ferry Road in Ewing.

The camp and is operated by Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and offers students the opportunity to learn STEM skills. Youth will participate in hands-on science experiments, introductory engineering projects and enjoy a session of LEGO Robotics.

Whether it’s helping to build productive futures for youth, supporting families of deployed military personnel or nurturing the budding performance artist within, Cooperative Extension, a unit of Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES), provides the tools and opportunities to build community and develop skills. As part of their mission to deliver a wide-range of educational programs to impact areas of economic and workforce development across New Jersey, the Rutgers Cooperative Extension is bringing excitement into STEM educational opportunities throughout the community preparing our youth to excel in a future filled with technological advancement.
