The 11th Annual Touch-A-Truck event is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 27 outside the Sun National Bank Center Arena in Trenton.

Whether looking out from the cab of a massive dump truck, feeling the power of the claw of a tough bulldozer, or getting behind the wheel of a larger-than-life fire engine, Mercer County Improvement Authority’s annual “Touch-A-Truck” event offers children of all ages an opportunity to experience the vehicles that get the job done.

County employees and owners of area companies will display their polished vehicles and will be on hand to answer questions—and to allow children to climb in or on their vehicles.

Robo Willie, the Mercer County Improvement Authority’s mascot, will be making a special appearance along with “Bob the Builder.” Touch-A-Truck will also feature a food court.

In addition to fire trucks, dozens of other vehicles including ambulances, loaders and garbage trucks will be on display.

The family-friendly event will be held rain or shine.
