Discussion group hosts forum for alternative Congressional candidates

The Jersey Political Discussion Group is set to sponsor a forum enabling alternative canddiates for Congress in the 12th District to express their viewpoints on October 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lawrence Branch of the Mercer County Library.

The Jersey Political Discussion Group considers it a public service to provide an opportunity for alternative voices to be heard so that voters can gather important decision-making information.

Participants include Steven Welzer of the Green Party, Kenneth J. Cody whose ballot slogan is Truth Vision Hope, Don DeZarn whose ballot slogan is Legalize Marijuana, Jack Freudenheim whose ballot slogan is Start the Conversation and Allen Cannon of the Democratic-Republican Party.

Voters are encouraged to bring their questions and comments. After presentations, an hour will be reserved for open discussion.
