The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey’s (CHSofNJ) North and South Ward Family Success Centers will host their second annual Dance with My Hero Father/Daughter Dance on Nov. 7. The Dance will take place at the Lighthouse Outreach Ministry, 715 Bellevue Avenue, Trenton, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Funded in part by Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton and the NJ Department of Children and Families, and hosted by CHSofNJ, UIH Family Partners and Fathers & Men United for a Better Trenton, the event celebrates men who not only recognize the importance of a positive male role model in a child’s life, but who are honored to fill that role.

Locals are encouraged to bring fathers and father-figures alike; grandfathers, uncles, brothers, cousins, friends and mentors are welcome. The event is open and free to the public.

The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey is a non-profit organization whose mission is to save children’s lives and build healthy families. Founded in 1894, the agency protects abused or neglected infants and at-risk children by ensuring stable, permanent, and loving homes for each and every child it serves. All services are confidential and most are free.

CHSofNJ’s North Ward and South Ward Family Success Centers, located in Trenton, provide fatherhood enrichment programs, parental support groups, job readiness and life skills education, parent child and parent education activities and more. For more information call 393-2980 or visit chsofnj.org.
