Handbag Bingo to support Lawrence public schools

Lawrence Township Education Foundation is set to host Handbag Bingo.

Handbag Bingo features high-end designer handbags from Coach and Kate Spade, to name a few, as well as door prizes, raffles and a silent auction. Proceeds fund innovative programs in Lawrence Township Public Schools.

Guests can purchase wine and many bring hors d’oeuvres to share with friends.

Last year’s event was a sell-out success, with more than 300 attendees, and raised close to $30,000 for LTEF.

Handbag Bingo is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 14 at ETS, 660 Rosedale Road, Princeton. The event is open to adults over 21 years of age.

Admission is $40 per person and includes three bingo cards per game for eight games. Additional cards will be available for sale as well as game cards for two bonus games.

The Lawrence Township Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that fosters educational excellence, creativity and achievement in the Lawrence Township Public Schools. Since 1992, it has funded over 550 programs in the Lawrence schools with grants in excess of $2.7 million.
