Storytellers to share New Jersey’s history

Hamilton Township Library is set to host a storytelling event in honor of New Jersey’s 350th anniversary.

Celebrate NJ’s 350th Anniversary through Storytelling is scheduled for 10 to 1 p.m. March 8 at the library, 1 Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. Way, Hamilton

Featured storyteller and author Laura Crockett will bring the Battle of Princeton to life through the character of Mary Stumpf.

Storytellers of the Garden State Storytellers League and the Storytellers Mosaic League, both affiliate leagues of the National Storytellers League, will tell stories of the state’s people, places and events. Topics include Thomas Paine, George Washington, Clara Barton, the Jersey Devil and the Haddonfield Dinosaur.
