The Pushcart Players are set to present Celebrating New Jersey! at the Performing Arts Center at Hopewell Valley.

The show is sponsored by Stony Brook Elementary School PTO.

In honor of New Jersey’s 350th anniversary, the Pushcart Players have written a new musical entitled Celebrating New Jersey! The play uses the art of story telling to reach across more than three centuries, linking young and family audiences to their past.

This event is part of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance’s Stages Festival, the state’s largest annual theatre festival that provides discounted and free theatre performances, workshops and events for all ages throughout the month of March.

It was developed to encourage New Jersey’s residents to attend their local professional theatres by making the experience affordable, accessible and fun.

The performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. March 14 at the PAC, 259 Pennington-Titusville Road, Pennington.

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for children under 18.
