Sustainable Princeton breakfast series to continue

Sustainable Princeton’s Great Ideas Breakfast Series: Food & Thought is set to continue this spring.

Sustainability-focused breakfast meetings are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on the last Thursday of each month in Princeton Public Library’s Community Room, 65 Witherspoon Street, Princeton.

Local eateries provide a free breakfast for attendees.

Innovative Energy Solutions is scheduled for March 27.

A panel of local entrepreneurs, including NRG chief operating officer Mauricio Gutierrez, are set to discuss the clean technology journey — from the first seeds of innovation to development of full-scale enterprises — in the energy sector. Panelists will discuss inventions being developed in Princeton.

Stories of Waste and Hope is scheduled for April 24.

A panel of local residents and business leaders are set to discuss how residents can turn stories of wastefulness into stories of hope.

Water: Our Most Undervalued Resource is scheduled for May 29.

Experts from The Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association and university research labs plan to explore solutions to Princeton’s water issues, such as water conservation.
