PHS alum wins Career Success award

The Mercer County Technical School District’s General Advisory Committee presented Brian Davison, Shop Foreman at Flemington BMW, with the 2014 Career Success Award.

Davison is a 2001 graduate of Princeton High School and Mercer County Technical Schools’ Arthur R. Sypek Center where he studied automotive technology..

As a Princeton High student, Brian was disinterested in school. When he started the automotive technology program at Mercer County Technical School, things turned around. He went from never going to school to never missing school.

He even took first place in a statewide SkillsUSA competition for high school students and was offered a scholarship to Universal Technical Institute where he earned an Associate of Occupational Studies degree and was a member of the National Honor Society.

In 2003, Davison successfully completed the BMW STEP Training program and was offered a job with BMW.

Davison resides in Ringoes with his wife Erin.
