Church to hold Lenten Hymn Festival

Abiding Presence Lutheran Church is set to hold a Lenten Hymn Festival on March 23 at 3 p.m.

The event will be led by guest organist Emily Sensenbach-Gopal and guests are invited to sing select hymns for the Lenten season including “A Mighty Fortress is Our God” and “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say.”

In 2006, Sensenbach-Gopal received a M.M. from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, where she majored in sacred music.

She currently serves as the organist and choir director at St. Paul’s Church in Milltown and the music director of the Rutgers Queens Chorale.

The event is free.

Abiding Presence Lutheran Church is located at 2220 Pennington Road, Ewing.
