Morgan fourth grader Dominick DiMola holds his Outstanding Achievement Award ribbon and certificate from the Mercer County Science and Engineering Fair.

Morgan Elementary School fourth grader Dominick DiMola received the Outstanding Achievement Award for his project at the Mercer County Science and Engineering Fair on March 18.

DiMola won the award for his project called Hot Chocolate.

DiMola wanted to find out which chocolate melted the fastest — white, milk or dark chocolate. He hypothesized that white chocolate would melt the fastest.

Through his experiment, Dimola learned that dark chocolate melts the fastest because it has more cocoa in it than milk or white chocolate.
