Law enforcement officers from the Princeton Police Department are set to crack down on distracted drivers as part of a statewide campaign designed to target the use of cell phones while operating a motor vehicle.

The initiative is scheduled to run April 9 through 21.

The police department plans to have high-visibility law enforcement patrols to attempt to increase traffic safety by targeting distracted driving, specifically the use of cell phones for talking and texting while operating a motor vehicle.
