TASK receives $25,000 grant

The Bonner Foundation announced that the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen has been awarded $25,000 for the 2014 Crisis Ministry Grant.

The grant will help secure more fresh fruits and vegetables for use in TASK’s daily menu.

TASK serves over 4,000 meals per week at its main Escher Street location as well as satellite locations.

In addition to meals, TASK offers an adult education program, an on-site social worker and vouchers for food and clothing.
