The Juke Joint Jonny Trio to perform at Arts Council

The Arts Council of Princeton is set to present a Sound Bites series concert and free workshop featuring The Juke Joint Jonny Trio on May 16.

Juke Joint Jonny is a blues man, band leader, singer, songwriter and historian.

The workshop will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will cover the techniques and origins of traditional blues. Musicians are encouraged to bring their own instruments. It is free and open to the public.

The concert will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Registration is encouraged.

The event will take place at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts located at 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton.
