On Dec. 6, Hopewell Valley Vineyards will host a screening of the independent film, The Bench, accompanied by interactive artist meetings, light music, wine tastings, homemade brick oven pizza, desserts and a Q&A session with members of the cast and crew.

The Bench profiles 17 unique strangers who all stop to rest on the same bench. Through their backstories, delivered by eight different filmmakers across eight chapters, the film touches on socially relevant topics, ranging from homophobia to persecution, as well as timeless themes of love lost, found and remembered.

Guests can purchase the “Couples Bench,” a $69.50 package that includes two movie passes, one bottle of wine, one cheese and crackers platter, one brick oven pizza, dessert for two and all ticket transaction fees. There is also an a la carte ticket price of $13, which includes one movie ticket without food or wine.

The event will take place from 12:45 to 4:45 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets go to artisans.ticketbud.com/the-bench-the-art-the-wine.
