The Summer Art Exhibition at the Burlington County College Student Art Gallery featuring original art created by students, alumni and community artists is set to open July 30.

Through a variety of mediums, 42 artists express their creativity in this year’s exclusive juried exhibit, curated by BCC campus curator Jessica Ward.

The exhibition has 122 works of art, including photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, graphic design, needlework and more.

An artists’ reception, set for 12 to 2 p.m. Aug. 9, will be held in conjunction with Main Street Mount Holly’s third annual Hollystock Music and Arts Festival and the second Saturday Arts Crawl. The reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.

The Summer Art Exhibition is scheduled to be on display through Sept. 13 at the gallery, 1 High St., Mount Holly.

Gallery hours are set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and the second Saturday of every month; and 3:30 to 7 p.m. Friday.
