Trenton Farmers Market farm-to-table dinner to support HomeFront

Unionville Vineyards is set to host its third Country Sunday Supper at Trenton Farmers Market.

The farm-to-table meal, organized by Buttons Creperie chef and owner Lauren Sabogal, once again benefits HomeFront of Mercer County.

HomeFront is a non-governmental, non-sectarian charitable organization dedicated to helping the homeless in Central Jersey.

Trenton Farmers Market is a true cooperative, owned and operated by real farmers and their families. Member farmers sell only New Jersey produce. Unionville Vineyards is one of the cooperative farmers; Unionville farms five separate vineyards in Mercer, Hunterdon and Warren counties.

County Sunday Supper is scheduled for Sept. 21.

The five course meal served at the farm-to-table dinner is prepared by Sabogal and a volunteer team of local chefs. Unionville serves a free tasting of wines and sells wines by the bottle. The farm families in the Trenton Market donate their freshest produce and fruits for the meal.

Tickets are $45.

Tickets are limited and in the past two years sold out quickly. Tickets are available from Buttons Creperie at the market or by calling Buttons at (609) 216-5112.
