Princeton artist Gill Stewart is set to display her work at Small World Coffee on Witherspoon St.

The exhibition is scheduled for start Nov. 6 to Dec. 2, with an opening reception 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 8

Stewart’s display features a series of oil paintings based on the social media images posted by young women. Acting as if this is a private forum, these images reflect the inner life of the subjects, kissing, pouting, leaping and dancing, here made public for the world to see.

Stewart studied in London, and then with Gregory Perkel. She is a member of Art+10. Her work has appeared in several group shows, her solo show, and has been selected for the Ellarslie Open and won prizes at the Mercer County Artists show.
