Hopewell Valley Wrestling Parent Boosters are set to host the fourth annual 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day.

Last year, more than 600 runners, joggers, walkers and baby stroller-pushers participated in the event.

The Turkey Trot is scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 28 at Rosedale Park, Federal City Road, Pennington.

The race is set to be held rain or shine.

Prizes are set to be awarded to top overall male and female finishers and top three in each age group.

Registration until Nov. 14 is $10 for high school students and younger and $20 for adults. Participants who register before Nov. 14 are guaranteed a t-shirt.

After Nov. 15, fees are $25 for all ages.

On race day, the fee is discounted to $23 with donation to two canned goods. Day of registration is set for 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.
