Lawrenceville Elementary School teamed with Applebee’s in Lawrence to salute soldiers and thank them for protecting our freedom on Veterans Day.

Students created cards, decorated and signed a banner with words of thanks for their service to our country.

The banner will hang in the restaurant during Applebee’s free lunch for veterans on Nov. 11. The restaurant will also distribute the students’ thank you cards.
