Student presented projects and conducted experiments at Ben Franklin Elementary School’s Math and Science night March 14, 2013.

Children had the opportunity to learn about volcanoes, electricity, morse code, chemical reactions, periodic tables and gravity. They also played educational math games like chess and long jumping.

Math and Science night also featured a presentation by Rick Dutko of the Lawrence Nature Center, who explained how how to determine the age of a tree using its stump and entertained the audience with his knowledge of bats.
